Magnifico macina caffé da banco in ghisa misura "00" marca BT prodotto nella fabbrica fondata da Bartolomeo Truchetti nel 1878, più tardi acquisita dalla nota Tre Spade.
Risalente al principio del secolo scorso, il macinacaffè è fatto di ghisa e bronzo mentre il cassetto di raccolta e la maniglia della manovella sono di legno.
Le tre alette sporgenti dalla base hanno fori per i chiodi che fissavano l'arnese al bancone del negozio.
L'esemplare qui proposto é di misura "00" della Truchetti, molto rara poiché si trattava di un modello di uso casalingo ma molto costoso e dunque poco diffuso. le cifre del modello appaiono cerchiate e in rilievo sugli spigoli.
Il meccanismo del macinacaffè è funzionante e la manovella gira fluidamente.
Completamente revisionato e restaurato con grande cura e attenzione, nel rispetto dell'aspetto originario, é stato fissato ad una tavola in legno per rendere più comodo spostarlo trattenendo il cassettino.
Il cassettino non é originale.
Altezza circa 27 cm.
Pezzo incredibile, davvero molto raro in condizioni ottime, davvero bellissimo.

Fabulous antique table cast iron coffee grinder brand BT, made by Bartolomeo Truchetti, anche italian factory established on 1878, later acquired by the famous "Tre Spade".
Made on first years of 1900, main body is made of cast iron and bronze, although the drawer and handle are made of wood.
This is n. "00" the smaller size available about 27 cm's high. Model's Number is shown inside a circle on main body's angles.
Smaller one was named "00" then "0" "1" and "2" the biggest. Size "00" is very difficult to find because there are very few of Them.
This model was intended to be screwed on tabletop. We made a wooden base and screw It on to hold the drawer better and move It easily.
Coffee grinder is in perfect working order, handle turns around fluidly.
Grinder has been fully checked, cleaned and restored respecting it's original appearence.
Incredibile piece, very hard to find, for collector's, in very Good conditions, Truly a beauty.
